"Which roast is better for espresso?"

Alter Ego is a dark-medium Ego - very smooth & balanced. It is the gold standard of espresso at Thou Mayest, used in all our cafés. Definitely our most popular espresso, but also shows versatility brewed any way you like.

Super Ego was developed to be a deeper, darker Ego. This one will stand up to anything you throw in the cup - cream, sugar, flavored syrup, anything you want - without compromising on taste.

The answer? Well...thou mayest. The way is open. Choose your adventure. You really can't go wrong!

I used to live in Kansas City and would go to Thou Mayest often. Even though I live in Colorado now though, we still order 5lb bags of the Alter Ego coffee as our daily coffee. We've tried a bunch of others and it's just the BEST coffee for a great price!
