Alter Ego or Super Ego?

The age-old question we get asked all the time, finally answered.

"Which roast is better for espresso?"

Alter Ego is a dark-medium Ego - very smooth & balanced. It is the gold standard of espresso at Thou Mayest, used in all our cafés. Definitely our most popular espresso, but also shows versatility brewed any way you like.

Super Ego was developed to be a deeper, darker Ego. This one will stand up to anything you throw in the cup - cream, sugar, flavored syrup, anything you want - without compromising on taste.

The answer? Well...thou mayest. The way is open. Choose your adventure. You really can't go wrong!

Not sure which Tier 1 roast is your roast? Try them all!

Our sampler pack gives you the full Thou Mayest experience without committing to a full bag. Same coffee. Just smaller. And arguably cuter.

It’s perfect for gently nudging someone into the Thou lifestyle without overwhelming them. A friendly “hey, try this” instead of a full-blown caffeine intervention.

New here? Welcome. This is the easiest way to taste the standards that started it all.
