WE'RE BACK.
It’s been over a year since our last Accidental Roast Report (March 2024, if you're the type to keep receipts).
You probably thought we had become perfect. That we had transcended error. That our roasters now hover, enlightened, above the laws of thermodynamics.
Well, fear not. We’re still human. And we’re back with a blunder.
BREAKING BREWS
In a stunning display of overconfidence and under-attention, our roasting team took one of our most beloved coffees, Smooth Operator, and, how do we say this professionally, yeeted it through the roast curve faster than a barista chasing a tipped latte.
The roast was… fine. Not bad. But when we cupped it, the flavor was somewhere outside the vibe. It had the nerve to taste like a light roast.
So naturally, we fixed it the way any coffee company with too much pride and not enough sleep would: we blended it with something bolder. Enter Boldly Go.
The result? A coffee that tastes like… coffee. Smooth. Balanced. Confused about its identity, but in a charming way.
Flavor Notes: Coffee, with subtle, yet strong, undertones of coffee.
Price: $10 for a 12oz bag. Because we believe in affordable mistakes.
LIMITED SUPPLY. GET IT BEFORE IT REALIZES IT’S NOT SUPPOSED TO EXIST.
Is this still good coffee?
Yes.
Is it what we meant to make?
No.
But it’s smooth, drinkable, and an excellent reminder that not all who roast are lost.
Thanks for supporting our ongoing series of delightful deviations from the roast schedule.
Stay caffeinated. Stay curious. Keep making mistakes.
