Volume I: Alter Ego meets Barrel Conditioned

(TL;DR) This is a very classically medium roast with whiskey-soaked fruits way in the background and a buttery mouthfeel.

A few weeks ago, we were roasting our Alter Ego coffee, and right after that roast-cycle (the time it takes when you introduce the coffee to the heated environment of the drum, typically 10-15 mins depending on where the bean is from), we were roasting up a Barrel Conditioned coffee.

After the roast-cycle, the coffee is ejected into the cooling tray where you have about 10-15 mins to let the previous roasted coffee cool off and stop the cooking process.

The Alter Ego was in the cooling tray and a Barrel Conditioned coffee was ejected on top of it. These coffees were perfectly roasted, but unintentionally blended together. We tried to liquidate (by drinking it every day at the roasting warehouse) but we have too much and it needs to be consumed ASAP! Could you help us get liquidated?

The Alter Ego beans are roasted medium-dark and have flavor notes of milk chocolate, nuttiness, with some bright citrus notes peeking through, and the Barrel Conditioned is a medium roast with very distinct notes of smoky vanilla & cherry sweetness with a buttery mouthfeel.

If you like the Barrel Conditioned coffee but think it could be dialed back a little and is sometimes too strong, this is a great option for you. This is a non-alcoholic, once in a lifetime roast, so get it before it’s gone!
