Bean Blunders for Brew Lovers

Bean Blunders for Brew Lovers

Current Blunder: Pepper Thy Expectations

For your brewing pleasure, we give you our latest - Pepper Thy Expectations - A Seasonal Blunder

In an effort to do something thoughtful and seasonal, we combined Rwanda Peaberry and Peru. Two coffees we like. Two coffees that behave well on their own.

The verdict?
It is bright. It is balanced. It is slightly confusing.

And somehow, it works.

If you like coffees that keep things interesting and do not fully explain themselves, this is your moment.

Flavor Notes:
Graham cracker • light chocolate • light nuts • subtle fruit • bell pepper • bright acidity

Graham cracker leads the way. Light nuts and light chocolate follow. There is some fruit in there, but it is subtle, like it is trying not to make a scene.

And then, right when you think you have it figured out, there it is.

Bell pepper. Real bell pepper. Not metaphorical.

One of our roasting team described it as:

“a real acidic medium blend imo”

We accepted that and moved on.Graham cracker leads the way. Light nuts and light chocolate follow. There is some fruit in there, but it is subtle, like it is trying not to make a scene.

We're only human...

We are regularly trying new coffees, and we’ll let our subscribers know when we have a roast that we've enjoyed but won't be releasing, or one that we blundered and are offering at a discount. Join the experiment! Give us your money & trust that we won’t put anything bad in your mouth.

Blunder? I hardly know her

Listen, as the late great Eleanor Shellstrop once said, pobody's nerfect.

Accidents happen. Sometimes we blunder on purpose. Is that technically still a blunder? For the sake of not having to rename the product, yes, yes it is.

Life happens. When it does, we could either throw out perfectly good coffee, or we can let our loyal following try it for a discount.

Is this still good coffee?

Yes.

Is it what we meant to make?

No. Well, probably not.

Will we do it again?

I mean, yeah. We will. You're welcome.
