Fresh earthy garden notes give the cup a lively and fresh acidity; structured caramels, baking spices and cacao fill in with a symbiotic harmony; while heavy lipids provide a weightiness that is rich, and plush and cohesive. This coffee is a spice rack wrapped in velvet earth.

About the Producer

This coffee comes from the Cooperativa Agraria Cafetalera ACPC Pichanaki in Junín, Peru, a farmer-owned cooperative founded in 2000 to improve quality, expand market access, and strengthen the livelihoods of smallholder producers. Today, the cooperative supports 320 partners across more than 2,065 hectares - over 1,400 certified organic - while investing in technical training, sustainable practices, and ethical production, including carrying the Free of Forced and Child Labor seal.

Terroir & Cup Profile

Grown along the eastern slopes of the Andes at the edge of the Amazon basin, this coffee benefits from warm days, cool nights, and steady rainfall that slow cherry maturation and concentrate sugars. Careful washed processing highlights deep cacao and baking spice notes, structured brightness, and a subtle vegetal sweetness, all carried by a thick, buttery mouthfeel and a clean, expressive finish.
