Zambia Peaberry - Seasonal Release

Zambia Peaberry - Seasonal Release

Medium-Light
Medium-Light Roast

Single Origin Zambia

This Zambia Peaberry is bright, clean, and easy to keep sipping.

It starts with punchy citrus and sparkling acidity, then settles into warmer layers of caramel and molasses. Screaming lemon/lime acidity as it cools with sub notes of baking spice and milk chocolate.

Small bean. Big personality. No need to overthink it.

Tiny Bean, Bright Cup

Peaberries are smaller, rounder coffee beans that tend to roast a little differently than standard flat beans. This one brings a lively citrus punch, sparkling acidity, and a smooth medium mouthfeel. It’s bright without feeling sharp, sweet without getting heavy, and very good at disappearing from your mug.

Same Farm, Different Direction

Both Zambia releases come from Kateshi Estate, but they are not the same coffee. The Seasonal Release is a bright, citrusy peaberry. Microlot Series No. 4 is a different bean selection with extended anaerobic fermentation, giving it more body, deeper fruit, and a wine-like structure. Same farm, different result, very good argument for trying both.

From Zambia, With Love

This coffee comes from Kateshi Estate in Zambia’s Northern Province, one of the country’s long-standing coffee estates. The lot is washed and sun-dried on patios, giving it a clean foundation for all that citrus, caramel, molasses, and baking spice to show up clearly in the cup.
